The Top Knot
- Bobby pins
- 1 elastic or ponytail
- (Optional - Hairspray, Gel, or Accessories)
1. Start brushing your hair into a very high ponytail
2. Don't put your elastic in yet! Just start twisting your hair In a counterclockwise motion
3. Now start to wrap your hair around the base of your ponytail
4. When your happy with the result, put the elastic over top of the bun to keep it in place
5. You can take bobby pins to fix any fly aways
6. (Optional) Take a cute hair accessory like a bow or fake flower and put it on the front or side of the bun
7. (Optional) Use hairspray, gel, or styling mousse on the front of your hair to slick any loose pieces or fly aways for a sleeker, cleaner look
8. For a messy bun you don't use hairspray or gel and you don't have to use bobby pins because it creates a messy, laid-back bun.
The Side Ponytail
- 1 elastic or ponytail
- Bobby pins
- Optional (Curling Iron or Wand)
1. Brush your hair into a low side ponytail and elastic it into place
2. Take one piece of hair and wrap it around the elastic
3. Then bobby pin the piece of hair into place
4. (Optional) For a girly look you can curl your hair before you do this
DIY Textured, Sea Salt Spray Curls
- Sea Salt Spray or DIY Sea Salt Spray
- Curly Hair
1. Start with curly hair or slightly wavy hair
2. Add some sea salt spray and spritz it evenly throughout your hair
3. Scrunch the spray in
